head unit on top of dash

I'm curious if anyone here knows if it's possible to have a screen mounted on top of the dash. Like on the A3 with cables that can go to a head unit under a seat, or under the dash. I found this device that holds a GPS and mirrors a smartphone, but I'm wanting to set up a screen to control the...
