00812-Brake pressure sensor 2

Hy all, i have a problem with my 1.4 petrol 2000 reg, the abs,asr and red circle with exclamation mark are on on the dash and the code in the title came up on scanning. The garrage told me that the sensor at fault was registering 6 bar pressure when it should have been 0. Also the lights came off next mornning, to reapear again a week later.
I have read here that is worth changing the brake light switch but the lights are working fine.
Any more input on this?
