1.2TDI woes and joys

My folks just took my car to Germany to see relatives and pick up lots of Zekt (like champagne) for the forthcoming wedding of yours truly.

With over 80mph on the autobahns, dad said they averaged 77 mpg - not bad with a full load eh?

But a few problems too [29]

Big oil leak from crank and cam shaft seals meant car was off the road for 3 days with Audi garage in Schwelm sorting it out but left with a bill for around £530 big ones - cambelt contaminated and replacing that also requires a roller tensioner and water pump seals.

I want to write to Audi de about this - any ideas Frido?

Also do you have any old wheel trtims for the 1.2? One of mine lost it's valve cap cover and another is badly scratched from kerbs.

Got the tail light switch replaced and it worked for 1 week and now doesn't anymore!!!!
