The most important thing is to pin, (with a drill bit, or similar), the mechanism when reassembling.Don't damage or trap the flaps upon reinstallation
Hi, do you know if the injectors were tested and cleaned by a specialist before fitting? If not, I suspect that this could be your problem with regards to the smell of fuel. I had serious issues with my 2004 FSI and one of the jobs I had to do was replace my injectors and was advised not to fit them until the replacements were checked, cleaned and tested.I get these codes on vcds I've changed all coils for new and all spark plugs eared codes but immediately came back on at startup anything else I should do very strong petrol smell as well any help new to a2
No bother, there is small filters inside each injector and they break up causing blockages which renders them as scrap.Mine are being refurbished as we speak i took him 8 and four are going back in and any others that are good will be put away for spares
Neither did I until I spoke with Tony @ ASNU, I can highly recommend these guys who did a great job on my injectors and with a very fast turnaround too once they receive your own. They sent me photos and videos of mine during all stages and were able to change my filters to stainless steel versions. ASNU only specialise in petrol GDI injectors for which the FSI are same type and as you know both Audi and Bosch don't make or supply them anymore.I didn't know that first time I'm messing with injectors and coils and such
