Took my A2 to Brentford Audi for check up. Apparently the engine management got some faulty signal that something's wrong! They will replace a part in a week's time under warranty.
Original they were going to get me a A4 2.5 TDI Auto for courtesy, but i much prefer to drive manual. Finally got me a A4 1.9 TDI for the day! It drive amazing well and to my surprise got lots of power compare to the A2 on 1st and 2nd gear and feel solide on the road! Seating position is very comfortable, I start wondering if I have made a correct choice of getting the A2? Or certainly will consider an A4 for my next car!

Hmm .. my car had a similar problem. My wife was driving it, then suddenly the engine cut off, but started again after turning the ignition key again. However, the engine management light came on. I could still drive around, and for a few hours, it remained on. I parked the car and around 30 mins later, i started the car and the engine management light went off! It no longer shows up anymore. But I am wondering if I should just take it to audi for a check up anyway. Its still under warranty. What do you think?

I think u should! My car is driving fine apart from that engine managemnet light is on! dont feel anything wrong with it.

You turned down an A4 2.5 because it was an auto! If you think the 1.9 is quick try the 180 bhp of the 2.5!!

I once had a 2.5V6 diesel A6 for the day.

I know silly me! Should have try the 2.5 auto!! Hope they'll offer me the same car in 2weeks! However since I will never get the 2.5 think is more reasonable to try 1.9TDI which I could seriously consider for my next car!

I once had a courtesy car booked for the Monday morning. I turned up to be told the courtesy car had developed a fault over the weekend and would I be alright driving an automatic. No problem. I got told the car's in the car park at the front. Checked the reg number and it was an A4. Not bad, It'll do. I checked around the car for any damage, not wanting to be accused of any damage which was already there.

3.0 quattro said the badge. Leather interior, tiptronic and all the toys. When I returned it I enquired about it and was told it was £33,000 worth. Still didn't turn as many heads as the A2 though.

You really have to try the 2 litre TDI DSG A3!

I am the Fifth Column. I am no longer an A2 owner. The A3 TDI DSG is awesome - yoof influence - I do wear a baseball cap but NOT backwards.
