Hi

I think, I want to buy an little amplifier and place it under the left front floor (driver side - Denmark). Next, I want build my own subwoofer and place this one under the right front floor. But from where should I get the Power (the plus)- and more important - from where do I get the Ground signal. I mean: This is an aluminium Car... In the "empty" room under the left front floor, there is other electrical equitment. Could I take the power and Ground from there?

Are there any connection "room" from the two "secret" rooms to the back of my dashboard?

Sorry for my absolut bad English.

For the best results I have always taken a fused feed direct from the battery. In my current audio project I have installed two additional batteries in the boot. These are fed via a H/D 180 amp relay direct from the car's own battery. The relay is a split charge set up and is on switched on when the engine is running. [One battey per amp]

The earth is always best taken from the same place the main battery is earthed from or direct from the battery itself.

I also chose to run my after market head unit direct from my 2nd battery as this eliminates the unit switching off when you start the car..

Do not forget that aluminium conducts electric so earthing is not as big a problem as you might first think.. hope this helps..

Suppose this is the same question -

is there a spare 12V 'live' / red wire somewhere near the dash?

I have a radar detector and the lead running from the cigarette lighter is untidy and gets in the way.
I need to find another live wire to connect it to.

Could i junction another wire , say going to the radio?

Could there be on behind the pasenger glove box?

Not sure yet,, my car goes in to the audio shop next Monday and this will be a question they have to answer for me as I am to lazy to look myself.

I need a ignition on live for two things so if no else gives you an answer then I will feed back to you.
