I am looking to purchase an A2 soon and was wondering when the introduction of the 90 BHP version was.

Also are there any distinguishing differences between the the 75 & 90 BHP models
 
TDI 90 was launched in autumn 03 but the first ones shipped around Christmas.

Differences are disc brakes at the back (75 has drums), 30 kg heavier, supposedly quieter. Oh yes, and more oomph of course.

I bought the 90, I thought the extra £700 was worth it. But the 75's a pretty good car to, and it goes well enough.
 
Don't forget the red I on the model inscription at the back.

Mark, have you found the rear alloys to get as equally covered in brake dust compared to the fronts with having discs at the back? From personal experience with the 75PS the front alloys are a pain to keep clean, the rears are not as bad.
