2 year interval servicing

It looks as if our A2 will be serviced on the two year rule, will probably only do around 8k/year and average run is around 12 miles. I am wary of letting it run this long without an oil change and am considering doing an interim oil change.

Has anyone else done two years between services yet or are you all high milage drivers?

The viscosity of the longlife oil is guaranteed for two years or when DIS indicates it's neccesary. So it shouldn't be a problem.
This is where the economy of the A2 shows itself.

My 1.4Tdi has done 31000 km on the same oil and according to DIS it can go for 10000 more !
