Hi all,
Im new here so forgive me if i cause any annoyance.
I have a beautiful light blue A2 1.6FSI Sport with beige leather/alcantara interior. Problem is, a couple of weeks back the wife filled her up with 95ron and almost immediately the car became jumpy/flat at around 3000rpm and the engine light came on. We took it to a local mechanic who said the computer showed 3 misfires and after 2 weeks of checking everything (giving a service, replacing coils, checking wiring) nothing fixed the problem.
Then after 10 days of sleeping she was fired up and worked perfectly! Miracle! However, 2 days on and the problem has returned.
Does anyone know what this can be or a sure fire test that will diagnose the problem? Getting desperate now and starting to fall out with my once best friend.
