2009 Audi A1 (A2 replacement) based on Golf FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm... In this week's Autocar magazine they quote Audi brass as saying the next A2 (which will include a 3 and 5 door) will not only be made of steel BUT will also be partly based on the previous generation Golf mark IV's chassis!!!!!!!!! Urgh no Audi!!!
 
Well, I have it on good authority, from an Audi employee, that the next generation A2 will be produced by Seat, with R&D from Audi and the final badge being Audi as well.

Rest assured that it won't be as good as the car we all know, drive and love now. Whilst Seat do make some fine cars, they just aren't screwed together well enough in my humble opinion. It's certain that they cannot rival anything coming from the A8 factory in Neckarsulm.
