As @Buchanan DTR, I've cleaned rake switch contacts, it's a temporary fix I did over a year ago. Replacement switch in stock, it'll be fitted one day.

Went out to check this morning and brake lights aren’t working so thats it! Thanks so much I will order a new switch looks like an easy job

Try removing the switch, fiddling with the actuator a bit and re fitting. I’ve done this on both of mine and am cumulatively 35k miles on them without the issue reoccurring.

Had a bit of an upgrade to the A2 put on last week - I found some of my favourite A2 wheels and probably the rarest ones, the 5 spoke stars up for sale at a scrapyard. They were in awful condition so took them to my alloys in Basingstoke - Highly recommend they were fantastic. After having the 17” 9 spokes on my last car and remembering the ride I wanted to stick to 16’s and i think they look great.

Then had a nice long run to get to know the car up to Warwickshire and back, hit 60mpg with the air con on max all day and 500 miles to this tank, not bad from memory

And I ordered some auto style floor mats, nervously expecting them not to fit. To my surprise they do! And the piping colour choice was a nice touch
