4 wheel alignment

The original garage that have failed three times to setup the rear axle have declined to be involved anymore on the basis, they claim, their equipment indicates that the setup was correct; unbelievable! Perhaps they think I fiddle with rear axles for the fun of it and to tease garages????

No longer looking for evidence now looking for somebody who has the kit and experience and can get this right. I'll advise how I get on but not driving the A2 unless I have to as it is dynamically compromised.

Almost three months after spotting this issue I finally have the car correctly aligned. The rear axle was out slightly and as I suspected a front console was also slightly out of position. The first garage hadn't done the job correctly. The car is now much better to drive, I don't feel like I'm constantly fighting it.
If you are based in the North, Paul at Vasstech in Knaresborough is the man for this job. He took ther car and confidently and successfully aligned it in exactly the time scales he predicted. That is the advantage of finding somebody who is a VAG specialist and has done a few.
