Just back with a detour down the A1 M onto the M 62 in Leeds due to the M6 being down to one lane at Lancaster services south bound so didnt want to get caught up in the lake district traffic, hope Timmus didnt get caught up in it, he was still working on a car when we left.
Great to meet faces to names looking forward to the next one. And thanks Murdo for the polish up on Devas butt........lol
Cheers guys and gals

Fantastic weekend, great number of cars over the weekend. A huge thanks to Teresa for faultless organisation and all involved in giving ideas and advices, helping or just showing up. It was lovely to see you all and meet some new people. Sorry if we left without saying goodbye ?
We are still up north... Having dinner and chilling with live music in Knaresborough ??.

I wasn't going to let Ian out of A2 prison until he sold me some window stickers ?
Lynette says she would have thrown away the key! :(

Just finished unpacking the camper and sat down. 7 hour return journey with stops, traffic was surprisingly free-flowing until we got to MK so we cut across country from there.

@in9999, I didn't get to say goodbye but thanks for leaving the roof bars out for me, @KozMo you'll be glad to know they're now safely down in Chesham :)

Thank you all for making a wonderful weekend, it was a long way in a slow van but definitely worth it. How soon can we do the next one? :D

It was great to meet everyone today, see the cars and have some fettling done by Tom. Thanks everyone and the organisers, what a great bunch. My car is much better with cruise and a few niggles sorted out. Many thanks Tom for your great work, advice and education!

That's me just arrived back home safely. I must say it was great to finally get to a A2OC social, meet the people behind the profiles and see their amazing cars. I was blown away by how mint @Darren C car was even up close ?

A big thanks goes to everyone involved in organizing the event, especially Teresa, how she managed to find a Jimmy Savile tribute act is beyond me ?

Really looking forward to the next one I manage to get to and with a bit of luck I'll have Flipper with me instead of the 90 ?

You seem very obsessed with this Jimmy saville look alike
Is there something you need to tell us iain? It ok we’re all here for you…

Huge thanks to @Teresa and to all involved in the organising. Yesterday turned out to be the most unexpectedly enjoyable day either of us have had for a very long time. As some of you have seen we’ve now decided not to sell Gracie, it was that good a day that I decided I could justify keeping her, and we’ll be looking forward to bringing her to other socials to mingle with other colour storms ?

EDIT… when I say “unexpectedly” I mean we’d never been to anything remotely like this before, so had no idea what to expect!

No I'm fine nobody needs to worry about me, Although as a kid I did always want Jim to fix it for me but knowing what we know now I'm kinda glad he never ?
? I really don’t know how your parents never thought there was something amiss with the bloke. I mean who wear glasses like that ?
