A2 a future classic - Telegraph Article 16 Sep 18

I get the Telegraph on subscription. I've got the 16/9/2018 issue (Sunday) and I can't find it! It is Saturdays Telegraph that usually has a motoring section, but it isn't there, either. Strange ......

... I recommended the A2 longer ago than that. I had wanted one before Audi stopped making them, but at the time, my family meant the Merc E300 tdi estate I was driving was the ideal car. Roll on a couple of years, my eldest had gone to university and didn’t need anywhere as much to’ing and fro’ing as her friends: the need for such a big car dissipated. By then, Audi had stopped making the A2. Thankfully I found an excellent example, and am enjoying it 9 years (and 3 cambelts) later

I bought 2 while still in production. An ex-Audi demonstrator in 2002 and I liked it so much that when the MOT was due, I treated myself to a new order. 6 weeks before the order book closed in terms of speccing a car up and they rolled out the special edition models.

Tank is 14 in 2 weeks time and still going very strong. I see no reason why he won't last another 14 years at least.
