Hi !
The air filter on the TDI is located below the engine.
To reach you have to get under the car and remove the protection
plate below the engine. When you have remowed this you will see the
filter housing. The filter itself is 25-30 cm long and app 15 cm in diameter (it's round) !
I have replaced mine with a K&N high flow filter !

On this topic, where does the engine breahte from?
I believe it is to the left (from the front, RHD) of the top of the radiator but I would dearly like to know as with all of the floods here and diesels being unthrottled I dont want an engine full of incompressible fluid and the associated bent rods and valves an' stuff.
