Hi everyone-thanks for the seasons greetings.
we have an A2 that was taken ( ona low loader) into Audi on at least 6 occasions because it would not start.our love affair with the four circkes was becoming rather jaded.leter to MD. Audi UK and Audi germany came back done everything we can can't think of anything else.

I was in Russia during the summer and the tram there are fitted with chains hanging from the chassis to announce their impending arrival-but also to earth Static.
This got me thinking that the earthing system on the A2 may not be working properly-so we installed an earthing strip and since then .....well I am saying nothing-but I haven't be abusive to Audi since.
The audi techniian who came was filling me full of how advanced this car was.It's a pity that the service engineers 0only go by the computer and don't think.
But whenever my wife or I get in the car we always wonder whether it will start.
Now that really is a good advert for Audi Reliability.
