COME ON YOU GERMANS!

So my Germanic A2 driving friends when are we going to organise a trip to your fair country? As has been pre-noted, the A2 is built at Neckarsulm and it woud be great to drive there in convoy and visit the factory and Aluminium centre.

Us UK owners could remove the rear seats and return with pallettes of quality Beer etc....

:D

Sans seats can you image the quantity of beer a convoy of A2s can bring back!!! 20000 litres at least and ALL for own consumption!

Something like this:

Without rear-seats the A2 should be able to hold 23 and a half crates of beer.

The complete article (in german offcourse) is at :

23.5 crates of beer, my gawd, I'd never have believed it. I think that's a 'did you know' candidate for the newsletter!

We should take a fieldtest and really prove it !!

It would be fun to return from the ingolstad meeting with 23.5 crates of beer in the back :)

So everybody how about a nav-ex over there early September or even August bank holiday ? The best beer i ever had was from a small brewery in a town called Schwelm about 1 hr east from Dusseldorf - fantastic!

a party with lots of beer is always a good idea.....hey and the person who gets the least amount of beer into his A2 can wash all the others.

Lukas I sent Stuart a contact name and telephone number of the lady in Audi factory in Neckersulm.....you can organise vists etc....maybe you can ask Stuart if he still has them...I think it would be a great place for a meet up
And if you have a few days to spare here in Germany we could even organise a few gigs for you here in the irish pubs.

hee hee but then I'd have less space for beer in my a2 - i'd need to bring over my Gretsch and Ampkifiers! And of course new wife!

Stuart could you pass on contact info and i'll email you ideas before posting here

Cheers

Hi!
I would go all the way from Portugal to taste the fabulous A2 factory and to visit the splendid german beer!

Opss...[:I]

No more beer for me. [^]

A2day

A meeting in Neckarsulm would be great!

700km distance from the baltic sea is quite something but bavarian beer is always worth it :D

Cya in Audiland:)

Without revealing too much - I am currently organising a Neckarsulm trip including a factory visit, ferries, hotels, restaurants etc etc. As soon as I know more, I'll start a new posting!
