Hello fellow forum members, finally 22 years after seeing a silver Audi A2 in the hotel lobby of the Bremen airport hotel I have got my hands on one! With numbers of A2’s dwindling year on year I knew I had to make a choice sooner rather than later. My new to me 1.4 petrol (52 reg)was picked up yesterday from Perthshire and driven the 70 miles back home to East Lothian. A one owner, 69,000 mile example very clean and unmarked both inside and out.( Having had 3 cam-belt and water pump services in the last 20 years) Super refined comfortable and quiet drive, no faults no warning lights. Could not be happier.
This forum has been a great source of advice and reading material, and I hope to meet up with fellow members next year at one of the gatherings- especially another Scottish meet if there is to be one.
