A2 Frankenstein

Cree night vision 12v I'm not sure about the wattage but I have fitted them on a q7 extremely bright. I'll wire one up soon and post a picture. It's not a h7 fitment it comes with a 13mm nut which screws onto the back of the bulb, so first feed the bulb in then nut on the back secures it tightly onto the fog light housing where a normal h7 fits

Any chance of a link to the leds you've used Akeel? About to retrofit fogs and might go the same route as you, thanks!!

I Need to get the wheels back from the powder coaters then I probably can come down and I'll bring your steering wheel with me , also need to get a number plate made for the front :)

Cool - you will be able to see your old Blue Seats in their new home, less the dirt of course :)

Cheers,

Very nice. Much more modern. The offset seems right as well as I think the A1 has a higher offset yet they fill the arches nicely. Good work. Not sure on the black Audi badge though. Perhaps some splittable headlights with black internals would suit the theme your going for?

Car looks brilliant, thought I may be the first to fit these wheels, but mine isn't at tyre fitters until Wednesday.

What tyres have you gone for - I have 215/40 17 and hoping won't be any rubbing problems. cleaned up the hubs and calipers yesterday in readiness and just trial fitted a wheel without tyre whilst the car was jacked up, looked quite close to the outside edge of the arch.

Spent last two evenings polish and waxing them inside and out.

Thanks Steve , yes the offset sits nicely And closes the depth gap between arch and wheel , definitely looking for some splittable headlights and also it's not a black badge I just haven't put it back on yet lol , and thank you rich it does sit nicely equal to the arches and the tyres are 215,40,17 there's no rub , next job is full suspension upgrade and poly bush so it's nice and tight underneath

What suspension setup do you have planned? I've gone for Monroe Reflex with H&R 25mm springs and although the handling is pin sharp the firm ride does get tiring when you just want to pootle along in traffic.

I was thinking of a koni suspension set up it will cost nearly ten times more than the car but I can research the setup that you said it sounds good and atleast its been tried and tested

It's a much cheaper option going down the Monroe route I think I'll order it in , thanks Steve
