A2 market research - Anyone been contacted?

Has anyone been cold called recently to give their opinion of the A2? I've had 2 calls, one from Gallop and one from another firm. I declined the first, but accepted the second, primarily because they were offering cash and I wouldn't be doing anything on that day anyway.

They asked about my knowledge of new models, primarily small MPVs, and also how I ranked VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat, Ford, Vauxhall and BMW against each other, plus the usual kidz / job / what car are you going to buy and when questions.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of responses they get from the other A2 owners.

I had a call from an Audi appointed agency doing a survey on the A2. This was whilst I was having all sorts of problems. Whilst I could comment on the car, the questions were about design, features etc and nothing about reliability or dealer service.

Drat-they would have burnt their ears by the time I finished had they asked the right questions!

I had a call from Audi to see what I thought of my recent first service, and how the dealer performed.
And then a week later i got a similar call from gallop (Sp?) to see what I thought of the car, the dealer, audi, shopping, farting etc.

very bizarre, but I had no problems and told them so.

Its clear that all this 'calls from market researchers/Audi/your agent' is about Audi actually trying to up the quality of their service agencies. My local dealers (who is one of the apparently rare ones who do a good job) were very chuffed when I expressed my satisfaction to them (having done so also to the two or three 'researchers' who had rung me) and told me they had won some sort of 'day out' award for good service. Well, if that is what is happening use the opportunity to have a rant about your pet hate dealer, if its deserved, but be fair and commend them if THAT is deserved as well, as it is obviously heeded by Audi and (in my dealers case) obviously works: I have had NO complaints about their response to my problems over the last two-and-a-half years so can heartily endorse their award (Listers Audi Stratford-on-Avon for those who are looking to find a good one!!!) So don't be shy guys and girls tell'em how it is!!!

Both bought at the right price S/H through the dealer, Treated well both times!!!
(and I got the same excellent service with my first 225 TT coupé (s/h) and my current V6 DSG TT coupé - first car I ever bought NEW)
 
I am always called by my dealer a couple of days after a visit to the workshops to check everything is OK.
I've also been polled by Audi UK (agents of) for my opinions on Audi/A2s/Dealer/Service.

Pretty mundane questions and I've always been able to be complimentary about Martins Audi.
