What a great and very interesting forum, hello everyone, after helping a friend sort out his turbo im smitten, ive bought a bit of a shed A2 1.6fsi sport with a misfire.
i think i might just keep it for spares or sell a few bits off it.
im looking for a mint car or i might re-build one in white.

Could save you a lot of time and effort in the long run if it's decent. Factory white A2's are very hard to come by so a colour change (like this) is normally the only option.

cheers steve, but im not keen on the 500 mile journey to see that one, do you think its already been colour changed ?

I travelled 412 miles to find the right car. Steve Birchall is working on getting a votex style bodykit remade so it wouldn't be impossible to recreate something that looks like that in the future white easily.

Yes the car in the link has already had a colour change.

Hi.. Bear in mind though that although a 500 mile journey you may have a fellow member local to the car that may have a look for you.. On another thread Birchall has mentioned Shiplys who could deliver the car to you.. If a purchase went ahead..
