Got mine in Sept 2007 from vagparts.com but they ceased trading towards the end of 2008 - a victim of the recession and the devaluation of sterling cf the Euro.

Price I paid (incl VAT) was £39.44 and the part number on the invoice (for the 'platinum' aka beige version) was 8Z086347A.

Looks like a main dealer is your best bet for sourcing a new one.

thats where i seen them on vagparts but when i decided to buy one they had gone:eek: ive seen a few on the german ebay but the wrong colour i may try audi as a last resort;)

Yes Audi still do them i got mine April this year and the fitting guide on here is great had mine in in about 10 mins great bit of kit.

Cheers Phil

Just had a pleasant visit to my local dealer here in Holland (Wahl) and they say they can order almost everything that you can find on audi.de
The dutch site audi.nl doesn't have a webshop

But anyway, I'm going to email him the codes and I'll see what ever it costs. Will let you know! :)

rear drinks holder

just ordered the rear drinks holder about 45 pounds from audi said they have to order it so fingers crossed also after the tray part on centre console also if anyone has a part number there is one on ebay 230378082162 just my look its the wrong colour :(

got the rear drinks holder from audi stockport but had to order separate brackets at 18 quid the crafty b****rs;)

Yes, the cupholder is one thing, but there's a front bracket, rear bracket and a bunch of screws and fixings too - which is what made the VagParts kit such a bargain.

Cheers,

Mike
