Just to let you know, the German audi website has some new info on the new A2. Check it out: www.A2colourstorm.de

Roughly (and I mean roughly) translated it means:

A winter tower of the multicolored art. surprisingly the Events, surprisingly the Protagonist: The a2 colour.storm route make anywhere stop, where is really somewhat the matter. With completely special AUDI a2, which bring color into the gloomy winter. In numerous German cities are the multicolored action vehicles on the way. Basis of the Fun vehicles is the AUDI a2 1,6 FSI, which was revalued with knalligen colors and sporty equipment details. The vehicles in the colors Misanorot, Papayaorange and Imolagelb, special accents are shown set the 16 and/or 17-Zoll-Raeder and the flat black attachments.

Makes about as much sense to me in the English version as it does the German, but blame babelfish :)

I love the general tone of it-very arty farty!. Colour in winter etc!. I wonder how much the PR guys get paid to write stuff like this?.

I read in Audi Driver yesterday that the colour storm is definitely coming to the UK...or maybe this is old news!

Either way, atleast they'll be easier to spot!!

They will, but I wonder how many people will prefer them to the standard A2?

Probably not enough for Audi to reconsider continuing the A2 line.

I wouldn't be tempted by this yellow one:

But I don't so much mind this blue:

Even this red is ok, if you like that sort of thing:

To be perfectly honest, none of them look all that bad, but I suspect my take on it probably has a hint of bias [?];) In itself it looks much more of a fruitful and fun car compared to the more elegant and chic ones we all have, which might not really suit people's tastes. But who knows! What I do know at least is that if Audi offered to swap the new one for my existing one I'd agree, but as far as replacing it myself... might be a different story :)

I bet the white would look good with the black bumper strips...

...they may look cool now because they are different from what we are used to... but in 5 year's time they will look a bit sad IMHO... flash fashion calours like that goes out of style far quicker than normal ones... but I'd like a blue one thanks!
