A2OC line badge positioning

I've seen a few images in media, but where are people suggesting best fit for these...... Singular or plural????

Your choice.. The "usual" places are single on the hatch or service flap, pair on the rear doors upper rubbing strip, or trio in all the above.

I have them on the rear doors..

Not the clearest of pictures, but you get the idea.

I put them on the rear doors on one of mine. My Storm came to me via two other club members, with one already on the tailgate under the 1.4TDI lettering.

Rather than the rear doors I put them on the front doors. I just prefer it like that.
To me, putting them on the rear doors means that you never really notice them when you get in the car.
Also being an old man I am used to seeing makers model badges towards the front of the car (especially the rarer models and muscle cars. But the A2 front wing doesn’t have space for it to look right so I chose the front door instead.
I think that a reason some people put them on the rear doors might be because the Europeans had the SLine version of the A2 and the SLine badges were on the rear door.

But everyone has different preferences (thankfully) or we would just be copying rather than personalising.
this is what it looks like on the front door.

Have you had the wheels powdercoated a darker shade Graham since I last saw the car? Or are the wheels just dirty ? It’s looking good and I like the addition of the started flap on a votex car.

That is a picture of the car with its winter shoes on. The wheel colour is steel. Summers are on silver. I'll picture them later.

Mine are on the wing above the indicator...a previous owners decision lol

I put them on the rear door position on the Cobalt Devon project car, and have just ordered another pair for the incoming Cobalt TDi: will do the same.

My view is that the darker colours need that little splash just to break up all that blue (in this case). There is already the side indicator on the front wing that does the same job, so I feel the badge nearer the rear gives a sense of balance with the front. Not that I tried the badges all over the car with a bit of tape and worried over it for several days you understand

Just about visible here, but illustrates the point quite well.

Each to their own, and I must say, what a lovely job was made of those badges: they really are fab.

Thanks to everyone whose replied with suggestions..... All nice ?

I have ordered one from the shop and will be putting it on rear tailgate. I've got the internal a2oc decals in the rear quarter panels so seems a sound decision ?

Kind regards

My tailgate is debadged bar the Audi rings. I prefer the rear that way, hence the rear doors received the A2OC badges as above. Was talking to a guy in the street recently who asked why I had an old number plate on a new Audi. Its an 03 and he thought it was a current model as there was no badging to say A2, apart from the blatant 20th anniversary decal on the back window!!!!

I have always maintained that you could put a really nice A2 in an Audi showroom and convince people that it was a new model.

you could list all the standard options, the MPG etc and I am convinced that people would think it is a new model.

it is a pity that we don’t have a friendly Audi dealer that would be “up for it”.

Your old one would for sure have confused a lot of people thinking it was a new model!

Looks great debadged doesn't it. Was it obvious when they came off, assuming it needed a sand and respray where the badge was fixed?
