A2oc social event BEAULIEU PRIDE AND JOY SHOW

Hi all vonnie and I are looking forward to meeting you all in the morning drive safe and if you need a reminder the meeting point for us to join the other owners clubs is THE CAR PARK IN LYNDHURST SO43 7NY --if you can get there for 8.00am to 8.45am as they want to leave at 9.10am. There will be a nice guy there offering tea/coffee/bacon rolls/veg option to refresh you after your drive. We can park together at Beaulieu but we need to either stay as a group in the convoy or whoever is first in reserves "x" amount of spaces.NOW LOOKS LIKE 12 CARS.
If you are unable to make the meeting point then just head to Beaulieu and show your ticket/pay cash and park up--it maybe possible for you to still park with us -but can't guarantee it. But i think the convoy experience will be fantastic - up to 70 cars ranging from classic to hyper cars. THE ORGANISERS ARE ASKING FOR ALL CARS TO BE IN BY 10.00AM
The sun has been shinning today so looks good for us all tomorrow. Our cars are clean and I hope yours are also. Cameras are charged as I think there will be lots to photograph.
Once again drive safe and see you in the morning mike and vonnie

Gutted I couldn't go today as I am going to the football, but I am attending AITP this year and can't wait. At least the weather looks good for todays show. Hope you all have a good day .

Hi,

It was great to meet some members in the flesh!

An interesting day, the motor museum was great but smaller than I expected.

Lots of VERY interesting cars milling around and making lots of "noise" although "noise" is not the right word, V8 engines make music (loud music).

Looking forward to Audi's in the park (This time I will be taking the "project")

Yep I echo the other guys thoughts..Hope the weather stays fine and you all have a great day!

We actually thought you were coming to Beaulieu today Crazylegs - as you had at some time in the last couple of days added your name to the calender.

Thanks to everyone that came -- with out you guys there wouldn't be a social scene. Vonnie and i had a great time, the A2's looked great all together and nice to see a proper red A2 in the line up. The museum at Beaulieu is fantastic (although smaller than i was expecting) with some excellent examples of all types of motor vehicles. The exotic cars in the show with us were awesome and very loud indeed (many kids were in tears) Koenigsegg ccx was my favourite-i was tempted to have paid the £100 to have a passenger ride in it, only thing that stopped me was either me getting in it or in fact getting out!
i have a few pics to upload but on arriving home my macbook pro has gone all psychedelic on me so editing is not easy. So hopefully Apple can sort it out quick. So now to organise the next social.... cheers mike

Thank YOU Mike and Vonnie, it felt like a laid back-fun day and just what I was hoping for. That takes some organising, cheers for that.

Sorry I had to leave a little early.

Looking forward to the next meet.

Well what a fantastic day, well worth leaving at 545 to get there in time.

As always great to see the A2 team. It could not have gone any better the weather was perfect and some fabulous V8 they were decently having fun with them.

And managed to break a world record to boot. So great day all round.

Cheers

David

Fantastic day out - with lots to see and get close and personal with rare exotics.
