Looks like its got a chance!

Where did you get it from?
In general aftermarket exhausts never quite fit the same as genuine but genuine are either NLA or require one to re-mortgage

Their prices dont look too bad compared with some and too options for my AMF!
Have you any plans for your old exhaust?

Hi ,

If it fits then the price is reasonable, seen ones a lot more expensive, I did see some on eBay but decided on online automotive as I’ve had from them before for other cars.

The old exhaust is gone i am afraid , all that remains is the rear silencer.

Cheers

Yes i have seen £400+ for them and so following the above fab thread i have got the repair parts in stock aa i can see a little soot around my flexi.
Another consideration is to weld a outline of a square on the bottom of the cat to make it look decatted to hopefully prevent theft (mot place is fine with my reason for the cat looking modified)
Sure hope yours wasnt stolen!

The last owner said it was damaged when the flexi failed n he just kept driving, then eventually cut it away before he parked up the car.

Ive never heard of anyone steeling cats in Shetland, too small a place and only a couple of scrappies so theyd be caught in no time.
