Compared to todays cars, not at all good. Compared to their contemporaries, not very good. Rust was a constant problem. I only stopped carrying a comprehensive tool kit with my Alpine, since then several Sierras,(Maestro, Metro,poor bodywork and lack of final inspection) Volvo (still with us) and our lovely little A2 have been entirely trouble free, well I had to have an air pressure sensor replaced on the Volvo last week, an arm and a leg job, but it is insured (extended warranty). I expect to get re-imbursed for that, but......they're squirming.
