ABS light

The abs light keeps coming on on my 2004 1.4fsi when I hit a bump. Vcds says it is the right hand front. I have changed the sensor but still have the same problem. Can the abs cable be unplugged and changed or do I need to cut it and splice another one in as the next check would be the plug at the wheel sensor. Does anyone have the right hand front abs cable for sale. Mot on Friday. Brian

Yes that’s the cable. I’ve traced the cable from the wheel end to find a plug and the cable goes into the loom and up into the bulkhead.
I’m getting an intermittent electrical fault in the circuit G45. I don’t have a spare plug to change this one with. I’m loathe to cut a plug of a car that is not scrap or for parts.
