ABS Warning light etc

ABS Fault

Hi, I'm from Malta and just bought an 03 from the UK. My A2 is doing the same thing but the scan indicated the right hand sensor is faulty. Replaced both left and right but got the same thing (!) Beep Beep Beep................... The funny thing is that it sometimes beeps immediatly after driving or I could go on for a while before it decides to Beep, if any at all, somtimes. Any pointers?

ABS Fault

Seems that the fault is coming from the loom...... The 3 beeps and the flashing red (!) seems to appear every time i'm exiting round a roundabout when i'm returning the steering wheel to the straight position. I guess it must be someting in the wiring loom!
 
Hey Guys!

Have just come in after a loong search of what´s faulty with my wife´s A2 1.4TDi. Checked it with VAG Com and saw fault code 283. Have changed the loom and soldered it into place today. (Took some time to do it nice and neat though, with shrink-tubes and all). But then the fault is still present. So I decided to measure the resistance of the 4 wheel speed sensors in the ABS-connector. Found out that my Front Left Sensor showed 1 MOhm, and the other three sensors were around 24.8MOhm each. So I´ll pop by my Audi Dealer tomorrow for a new sensor, and to find out where the 2 wires for the "worn brake pad detection" will be connected.
The loom for the Front Left Wheel sensor has the following Part Nr: 8Z0-927-904.

Hi. I had same thing the day after using the top program at the Esso wash near by. They have a brand new mashine. Suddenly after a few hours all ok. I think that moisture came into some sensors at the wheels or .... (?)
