ABS Warning Signal Problem

Hi folks.
I recently purchased an A2 1.4TDi 90, 52,000 which according to the dealer had been sitting around on the forecourt for sometime.
The car was fully serviced, MOT'd and according to the dealer, when they run a diagnostic on the car, it came up saying that the wheel speed sensor was sensitive? This could be due to the fact it had been sitting on the forecourt for so long.
I have had the car a week and have done around 80 miles in it since I bought it but yesterday the alarm went off. It came up as amber, not red, on the display so should I worry about this? It went off after I pulled over and stopped the engine and restarted it again. It hasn't happened again, only the once.
The dealer said he will sort it out if it happens again but I'm just wanting to know if anyone else has had a problem with this and if so what should I do? Advice please.
Thanks folks.

ABS sensor issues appear to be a common issue on VAG cars with the integrated wheel bearing/ABS sensor ring... I am having similar problems and get a drivers side implausible signal code with the dash lighting up on a daily basis...

I know that both ABS wiring looms were replaced by the previous owners, the sensors could be the issue too but when I cam to try and change it the corrosion on the upright was pretty bad and so I decided I would source some better uprights and rebuild them with new bearings and sensors... sounds a bit OTT I know but that just me lol...

I am pretty convinced mine is related to the wheel bearing hence changing them... the bearings I removed from the uprights I bought were pretty nasty and they came from a 2007 Fabia with 50k miles on...

Symptoms I am having is traction control kicking in whenever it feels like it... speedo needle wavering when doing a constant speed (motorway for example) and more recently with the warmer weather, just turning on the ignition before starting the engine the speedo needle will dance about... its quite a sight to watch lol....

Do you know the actual fault code number? If using a generic reader it will be a P-code... VCDS will give you the VAG specific variation of the code with a better description if you can get the car scanned with that...

Hi
Noting as yet but I've just booked it in for the cruise control offer from A2 Cars (on the A2 Owners Club website) and part of the cost includes a diagnostic check/service check so will hopefully locate the issue then.
Thanks again though for the thoughts and advice. It hasn't happened again but I thought I should check it out on here first before doing anything else.
Cheers
