I ordered an accessories brochure the other week and Audi have just sent it to me in German!, excellent!. Luckily I was passing our Local Audi Dealer in Bristol and popped in to see if they had the English Version, they did, so if anyone wants a copy (or a copy to leave on online her on the website) let me know and I'll scan it.

Has anyone ordered the boot liner?, is it worth £50 (not the false floor thing). Anyone from Bristol out there with an A2?

Craig
A2 TDi SE, Dolphin Grey, V.Nice.

An english version!. Why the heck can't Audi get they're heads into 1st gear and let us UK owners have access via the UK website?.

They really do take the biscuit!.

Craig-was it you who were quoted £400 for an Audi fit 6 disc CD changer?.

Steve - 2003 1.4SE petrol, Silver, black/black interior

Craig, do you have access to a scanner to scan any interesting bits of the English version and I'll put it on the site for everyone to reference?

Hi Craig,

I live in Taunton, Somerset but work in Bristol. I'd like to say I have an A2 but really its my wife's[V]....but hey there is always the weekends;).

Cool, Where abouts in Bristol do you work, I'm in the spectrum building (big blue one) on the end of M32.

Aztec West....M4/M5 interchange. I know Bristol reasonably well ie know where the bottom of the M32 is but not being being local don't know all the landmarks.

Where did you buy your car and if a audi dealer how do rate them?

Griff

Hi Griff,

I used to work in Aztec West too, (I Worked for Orange for a while).I got the A2 from Vincents Audi in Swindon, only cause We spent the weekend looking for an A2, we started in Bristol on Friday night at the Bristol Dealer (Dovercourt), they were very good, but shut at 6pm on a friday evening and we got there at 5:55pm. Saturday morning we went up to Tetbury to the dealer there, they we very good but only had 2 A2's on the forecourt and they were a horrible colour (brown) and high milage, so we went up to swindon, were they had a used car clearout out on, and they happened to have a Dolphin Grey one there and that was the wifes colour of choice, so we got it. The Swindon dealer was crap by the way, they just happened to have the car in ther colour we wanted. I won't go back in a rush. I have some dealings with the bristol dealer since (just wanted some accessories) and they were really good.

Which dealers do you use?

See Ya,

Craig

I bought our car (Aug) from our local dealer in Taunton although we also looked at Dealers in Poole and Exeter. Taunton was by far the best and they had the car we wanted (bench and cd player) although not a first choice colour but silver is not that bad.

I have had some warranty work done already which they quite readily dealtwith although I was not overly convinced by their answers. Anyway that has all been resolved now.

I didn't realise this site existed until I had signed for the car. There is a lot of useful info here and sometimes glad i didn't know about this forum b4 I bought. Might never had bought!!!....anyway enjoying the car now.

Better get back to work....

Cheers Griff

As a follow-up to my trip to the motorshow Audi sent (very quickly - faster than Smart, Vauxhall, Fiat) me a pack with an A2 brochure (has a chamical pereodic table with A2 in bold on the front and lots of good pics inside), and some kind of accesory brochure (in english), I think this one had the colours and interiours. Also was a seperate pricelist which put me off a bit. I think nearly new will be the way to go!

Just out of interest Gav, is Merlot Red shown in the full colour brochure or are they still behind the times?

1.4SE petrol in Merlot Red, Biege interior, 16" 5 spoke alloys, DIS, Open Sky, Elec rear windows.

Yup... the Merlot Red is in there: still missing from the website, though [8)] - although OpenSky has recently made a reappearance...

I took a look at the brochures - I don't have the accesories one. They seem to have the full rnage of colours, and pics of a few schemes too.

I only asked this question as I have a copy of the Periodic Table brochure from June which has Jaipur Red as available (now unavailable) and no mention of Merlot.
