Air Con temps

Hi, sun's out so air cons being switched on, only mines due completely replacement. So before I get it sorted, can people reply with the temp in the vents on max cool? Just for reference so I know mines working okay.

I'm fitting new compressor new dryer new cabin filter, new condensor and new aux belt

To quote an old post from Spike...You can see the vent temperature depends on ambient temperature as it only cools so much.


I'd expect the car would be in a warm workshop while they checked the aircon as Audi specify the ambient temp must be at least 15C with the engine up to working temp before conducting the test. Between 15 and 20C ambient, the vent temp should be between 2 and 5C. At 25C the spread is 4 to 9C and at 30C its 6 to 11C.
