Alarm?

I'm not sure it's the alarm going off, but the car is making relatively low beeping sounds continuously for about 30 secs and then off for about 30 secs. Indicators flash at the same time. Unlocking the car stops it, re-locking and the red LED on the driver's door doesn't flash...hummm...

any suggestions?

I have had problems in the past with the alarm going off randomly and the led not blinking after the car being locked.
I removed the battery terminals (negative first) for 30mins and reconnected them. This reset the system and the led is now working and has sorted the problem. Might be worth trying that to see if it helps. I didn't need to enter the radio code just had to set the date again.

When our central locking module started packing up, one of the first sympton was that our alarm would arm (it wouldn't acknowledge with a bleep). This was quickly resolved once we replaced the module.
