This is interesting. Has anyone else had such a visit yet?
On Tuesday this week, at 3.10pm, my wife was at home when a very smart, professional-looking mature lady from Audi knocked on the door. She had spotted our A2 on the drive, and wanted my wife (after having confirmed that she was the Registered Keeper) to answer a short questionaire on her experience as an Audi owner.
She duly spent about 10 minutes answering questions on the local Audi dealers service standards, noted which dealers we had used (Swindon & Bath), wanted to know her thoughts on both the sales dept and the service dept, quality of the staff at each location, satisfaction with the car, warrenty issues etc.
After this, she asked about our neighbours opposite, who have a 'G' reg Audi 80 on the drive. She was very pleased to hear from my wife that the neighbours had owned this vehicle from new, and went over to talk to them too.
I believe she said that this was part of a nationwide survey by Audi on customer satisfaction.
I'd be interested if other forum users could post their responses to this, especially if they are also contacted in this way.

Sounds a pricey way to do things i.e. send someone out on the hope they spot an Audi, and for that person to be in, and undertake a survey!
I had a freelance lady come round once asking general car questions. I wonder if the person you had tailors her appearance-nice suit for an Audi owner, jeans and t-shirt for a Saxo owner etc!

I understand from my wife that she was targeting Audis, VWs, and Skodas. Not SEATs though!
Even so, it is an expensive operation, and I would have thought that at 3.10pm not many owners cars would normally be on the driveway. They'd be at work or on the school run.

P.S. Perhaps she wears a faded leather jacket, jeans, expensive watch/jewelry and a pair of designer shades for Porsche owners too!

I had a freelance lady come round to the house a few weeks ago, she was conducting the same survey about servicing etc. Was a quick interview as not yet had the car seviced or even visited my local dealer for anything, plus I got five quid for my time.

please be very careful folks when people come to your door & start to ask what seems to be very innocent questions.

im not saying that this woman was in anyway a bogus caller but you would be very supprised just how much information a smartly dressed & polite person could actualy get from you without you realising it.

take it from me "im in the trade" and politely say NO & close your door.

I know the lady and have done surveys organised by her before.
She also phoned before to make the appointment.
