I’m thrilled with it .

Oh one small job I will have to put a tail tidy on (bracket that moves indicator lights and number plate up under seat ) as the new exhaust I fitted the gasses are going to melt the offside indicator ?...oops !

Looks great,I have had a few V twins in the past Harley Sportster,Morini 3 and a half Sport and a Guzzi T3.
Personally I always preffered the two strokes and had a RD250 Yamaha,400 Kawasaki Triple S3,highly modded Suzuki 380 triple,Suzuki 500 twin and the best of the lot was a Yamaha RD 350lc when they first came over.
Sadly that got stolen for the pro am race series (Wrangler I think)that was going on at the time and lots went missing around the London area nicked for parts.
Would love to have another but cannot afford to run a bike and the A2.
Don`t wait for spring there will be some cold and clear days before then, get out and enjoy it,thermals on.
All the best.

Wow some real classics in that list I remember well the Kawasaki H2 mk4 750 triples quick for there time ..my mate used to race one I had a go on it it scared the bejesus out of me ..

Never managed to try the Kawasaki 500 or 750 triples the 400 was quite fast enough for me.
That LC350 was a dream though, ferocious acceleration when wanted but really tractable around the London streets.
It also was not as thirsty as the S3.

Sounds like we have similar tastes... I have always wanted a 51 Ford V8 F1 pickup and ride a Ducati Monster 796 everyday. I Have a number of bikes that are ongoing projects with a BSA Rocket Goldstar, being my favourite as I have owned it for 38 years!! You're brave doing the belts as I've always paid, so I would be interested to know if you thought it was difficult!! Nice colour scheme... where are you based??

1998 GSX-R 750 here. Also a two stroke fan, but I just don't use the GSX-R enough to warrant having an MC21 parked next to it.

No, the Rocket Gold Star is the 650 twin and the twin leading shoe front was an extra!! Yes, I paid £800 for the last belt service so will definitely do it myself next time its due!... No, the seat is original, and its a low bike anyway (I'm 5"9") and it feels like a 250 to ride especially with super sticky tires - great fun bike!!...

Last time I watched one we flew off to Misano stayed in Rimini down the road it’s Rossi home track ..wonderful atmosphere..

I went to the British 500 GP in '98 when Simon Crafar won (and Rossi was in his first year on 250s). We've done a few Silverstone rounds in recent years. Booked in for the Dutch TT this year.

Assen is probably my favourite track ..when they catapult out of ramshoek something else I worked in Holland for 2 1/2 years in Dordrecht and schipol ..not an easy language easier if you were Scottish ?..very guttural ...you also had the other track at zandfoort on the coast ...you will have a great time enjoy ...?
