Anyone know the part number for the metal casting that holds the mirror onto door?

I'm at work till midnight, but will get you a part number and price when I get home.

The good news is that fitting the mirrors is easy, as long as the paint on the shell is in good order.

Right-o, the part number is 8Z2 858 531 1P9 for a nearside UK car or 8Z2 858 532 1P9 for the drivers side UK car.

Price is a not so cheap £85.

That includes all wiring and the motor - you can't buy the mounting separately.
