Anyone know what this is/does?

Could it be the stowage compartment that fits under the front seats? It should create a sort of drawer.
 
That looks handy, whatever it is - more stowage nooks always welcome!

Anyone on here got one fitted? Can Stoke Audi enlighten us...? :)
 
I may be wrong, but it looks like the panel that forms the lower half of the dash on the drivers side. The price tallies with the part and the catalogue calls it the drivers side storage compartment, even though there's no storage space there!

I remember when the A2 first came out we had the option of a 'step' that fitted in the rear footwells that acted as storage?
 
Storage Shelf

Hi there - as stated by Skipton above - this is just a dashboard cover panel - I bought the item thinking it was some sort of optional storage shelf but its just a cover panel and not an improvement for your car ( I didn,t complete the purchase from stoke audi for this reason)
