Audi 80 fe Cabriolet

I like his vidoes, he's largely got it right on the 80 Cabriolet, but then this car has only done 11,700 miles from new and still needs running in.The G60 twin pot callipers on these are really very good and haul these up beautifully.

These are very heavy cars with the extra chassis stiffening. If he or more importantly you were to put a set if iridiums in there and changed the Maf for new (genuine for £29 delivered) and plug leads they are a bit quicker than he mentions. He's absolutely right about the build quality and the silent cultured engine, you just don't realise how quick your going till you look at the speedo. A terraclean makes a good difference too! Tyres make a big difference to how they ride and grip/handle. There are also some trick things that can be done for little money that make them a much better handler if you know what to do.;) It involves a man in Canada that can send you these trick itms in an envelope it's that simple.

Needs a black leather interior for me, the yellow is waaaay to much. Ive seen 70k 2.8's cars sell for £8k in the last few years on an equally funky interior exterior colour combo. This one seams a a very good price and unrepeatable low mileage with the desirable options he mentioned. Who's buying?

Owned two B4 Coupes and one was my daily driver for 3 years/40,000 miles and I never confused the stalk for the lights with the indicators...

Love the cars...just maybe not in yellow ?

Yes, it's a wee bit bright. ?

Good to see you've owned 2 'B3' coupes, they would have been the B3 chassis, coupes had all the nice bits over the saloon of the time that eventually became standard B4 across the board, ie interior door cards and exterior accents wider arches etc, great cars! What model coupes did you own?

I've Onwed a B4 2.6 estate for 20 years and even when it was new to me never got confused by the stalks, audi 100 and A6 of the time is the same.

I’ve had a 93 80 2.0 saloon, then two 1996 2.0 Coupes, the last I bought with 41,000 miles on the clock and was my daily driver for three years.
