Audi A2 1.4 TDi 90 My Current Dream Car Aspiration.

Hi all,
I have today joined the A2OC. it has so far been an excellent resource for me to glean some vital information about the good and badpoints of the "baby" Audi. I do not currently own an A2, but i have decided that an A2 WILL definately be the next car i own. I am particularly interested in the 2004 1.4 TDi 90 model. Just to say i find it to be a great site, with knowledgeable members offering great advice. I look forward to a long and happy ownership of my A2 and to bothering you all with my head scratching and time consuming questions that i will inevitably ask in the process.

Welcome to the forum. Please check the selling forum. I'm not endorsing or recommending another members car, however there is a very well specified TDi 90 available for keen money at the current time, plus another couple of very nice diesels.

An A2 for sale on the forum doesn't guarantee its been cherished - but the odds are in favour of that possibility! Good luck with the search.

It really is a bloody good car. I am a bit sad that mine is getting old, a few rattles and niggles that annoy me. If they still made them I would buy a brand new one in a heartbeat. But what else could I buy? I looked at the new Golf today, it's bloody enormous, hardly fits down my road. I don't want enormous, I want small on the outside, big on the inside.

BUT on the bright side I've just been for a skive off work day out, my TDI 90 goes like the clappers and handles like a go-kart. Nearest thing to the Mk II Golf GTi from many many years ago. Loads of fun. And, take the back seats out, fill it with huge amounts of stuff and go to the dump or on holiday or whatever.

I just wish it was 3 years old not 10.

In this case I am more than happy to recommend Davids TDI 90 as one to consider. Not only have I seen the car in the flesh and checked it and the paperwork, but I liked it so much that I left a deposit on it. But unfortunately I had a bit of a nightmare and my financial position changed rapidly, or I would have it proudly sitting on my drive now!!!
