Audi A2 Cruise control

Just had this enabled via vcds after installing all parts myself (genuine audi stalk and oem loom). Although the system works as it should, it does not show that it is enabled on the drivers dash binnacle? From memory my old A4 used to have a light come on the dash clocks when Cruise was activated. Is this normal for the A2 cruise set up?

I.e shows MPG etc. Standard on the Sport model

Hi,

the A2, and other Audis of the same era don't have an indicator on the dash so your set up is working correctly.
I believe the indicator was introduced with the later generation cruise control.

As Andrew has said, there is no cruise indicator on A2s.

I don't know if the coloured conversion (available from Tom) has it but I wouldn't be surprised.

But no OEM cruise indicator on any A2.

Colour DIS indicates that cruise is set, and the set speed. It’s a nice implementation.
