It doesn't say anything to me. When the engine is jerking I could imagine the pressure signal from the manifold is pretty chaotic.

Also make sure your oil cap is on tight on the engine itself, and check for any air leaks from hoses. Also check the evap purge valve

I have an oil leak from where the oil level stick hose attaches to the oil sump. I heard from someone else it can cause an air leak that affects how the engine is running. Do you think this might be a problem?
I have already replaced the purge valve and the rubber hose from the oil trap.
 
these engines are very sensative to air leaks, so yes could be
I always slow test them to see if any leaks and were from
very common from the inlet manifold

Yes, also look for any air leaks from vacuum pipes, even the oil cap being loose will cause issues

Here come some updates what I've been doing on my Audi A2 lately.
I have changed following parts on my BBY engine.
Intake and EGR pipe from an BBZ engine and a Renault throttle body.

Parts
Intake 036129711FD
Renault Throttle body 408238827002
EGR intake pipe 036131521BF
Black silicon hoose 2,5 inch length 67 mm


It works very good and I will remap the ecu this spring.
And it looks original in the engine compartment.
