Audi a2- warning lights on and car cutting off

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I'll be really grateful if I could get some assistance.

I have an Audi A2 which has been giving me hell for a few months.

The problem is intermittent and what happens is that while driving, I would first of all feel the car jerk slightly (as if its a bout to loose power/cut out) once that happens, after a little while the car cuts out on me and all the warning lights come on (ABS, OIL(SOMETIMES) EPC, ENGINE MANAGEMENT)

Sometimes, I will be able to start it up again and get it moving, but all the lights will still stay on. At other times, the car will totally refuse to start and I would have to leave it for a day or so after which all the lights will suddenly disappear and I'll be able to drive it as normal.

Also, sometimes, when it cuts out on me I find that I will be able to start the car, but just wont be able to fire it up. I would step on the accelerator, but get no response at all. The accelerator will feel dead (no power).

I got the car diagnosed and got the following codes P0122 and P0322. So many things have been changed to try and solve this, but to no avail:

The speed sensor
The throttle
ECU tested and fine
A disc/wheel (don't remember the name) was changed, cos the mechanic thought it may have a crack on it
Wiring checked

Has anyone had a similar problem? If so, I'd love to hear from them

Thank you so much:confused:

Hi Dave, welcome to the A2oc
A car bought from a dealer must be fit for purpose in relation to its price and age. Contact Trading Standards or Consumer Direct for advice.
If you are truely on your own then a diagnostic scan is top of the list. If you are handy with the spanners then try a throttle body clean as this may clear afew of the faults - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=15392
