It's probably a bit late in the day to organise this for this year, but would anyone be interested in using this as a club social event next year??

I`m sure we could muster a reasonable number for this year! Count me in for either this or next year !
 
Am I missing something here. I thought you said that you were winding the club down.

I think I more or less came to an agreement with a few willing volunteers that I would try and share some of the work - social events included.

As it stands right now, I am away on business most of the week, so less time is spent on the websites or club anyway. So I will continue at this pace for the time being.

Saturday 11th October is the main club day at Castle Coombe (http://www.audidriverinternational.co.uk/).

I've been having some correspondance with them today and they say that they can reserve a patch for us all to park together if I can indicate numbers.

I know it's really short notice, but is anyone able to say 100% that you will be able to join me on the day?

I think if we can a few of us there, we've got a good chance of a photo or two in the next Audi Driver mag as by the sounds of it, all they ever get are TTs and Quattros attending and so a bunch of A2s would be a novelty for them this year!

As far as I can tell, entrance is free. I just need to advise of numbers as soon as possible.

Would you believe it: a club event in the South West(ish) and it clashes with the only thing in my diary between now and Christmas. Dammmit. :( Sorry Stuart - I'd love to come otherwise.

A friend with a chipped S3 has just contacted me about going as well - that would have been fun.

We still don't have a definite date for our car yet so we don't know if it'll be here by the 11th anyway.

Don't drink drive! Not only is it socially unaceptable, it also harms A2's.

New A2 on order. Only a month to go now - Ebony Black, Red Leather, CC, Symphony + all the previous options we had.

Good effort - there's 4 of us now!!

Castle Coombe is sign posted close to junctions 17 and 18 of the M4 and is located 5 miles west of Chippenham.

Go on then, you've twisted my arm...... count me in.
Just checked, it's about 220 miles from me but it sounds like it should be a good day out. I've previously been to events such as GTI International at the Transport & Research Laboratories which was organised by the same people (VW Audi Car)and found it to be well organised with lots to see and do.

Nov 2002 TDi Sport, Silver,Black/grey interior,climate. Replaced previous Mar 2001 TDi SE
