Audi driver international show 2014

Hi all not long now till the ADI weekend starts. Still time to book your stand pass (£2 via paypal) we have 29 names down but it would be great to get in the thirties. ALL are welcome and please do not sit back and think "my car is not good enough" as if its an A2 ITS WELCOME.
Please bring a fold up seat or blanket as it makes it more comfy chatting a2's  We will be having tea and coffee along with bacon and sausage in bread. You may want to bring an umbrella but trust me its only to keep the sun off your head.
i will post the meeting times and location again to keep it fresh cheers mike and bonnie

ALSO I WILL BE SELLING CLUB DECALS AND THE ALLOY A2OC(SLINE STYLE) BADGES.

Right all you A2'ers the plan is for us all on saturday is to meet up at the coach park located on DUNNS LANE --SN14 7HU @ 8.30 am Where i can hand out the car passes then head off to castle combe circuit. WE NEED TO BE ON TIME AS WE WILL BE LEAVING THERE AT 8.55AM (If you cant get there for that time please pm me for my number and i can meet you at the gate to issue you with your pass.)
Ensure you have paid your £2 for the pass---no pass = no car on stand.

To those that are staying at the hilton or premier inn we will need to leave at 8.00am prompt to get to the meeting point.

The club stand is now pretty much full and it looks like we're in for a great day out, Fingers crossed.
Any questions please ask--cheers mike

Hi Tony,

My partner and I are staying on Friday and Saturday but probably won't be there until around 9pm. Reckon we'll be in the bar after the long drive though.

Aimee

We will be staying at the Hilton at the above great rate, Friday night - won't get in till 8 or 9 at a guess

Who else will be there ?

And more importantly - who has stayed previously and can comment on the breakfast ? :D

Cheers

Tony

Jules has had a quick wash today and new nightbreakers fitted. So I'm all set. I seem to have developed a bit of a sniffle, so you might want to keep away from me :(

Leaving in about 1/2 hour - distance is approx. 140 miles

Need to go around the lovely M25.

Weather is poor so will be slower than normal...

we will Probably be at the Hilton around 10.

so will see some of you at breakfast

cheers

Tony

Those driving to castle combe today I hope you have a good trip and I will meat you at the car park in dunns lane at 8.30. For those that are at the Hilton or Premier inn we will leave at 8.00 to join the others at the car park so I can hand out the passes for the cars.

Hi all .. big shout out to a2sumo for another fantastic event .. quite a few a2s on show and met more people ... great weather generally ... nice to meet up again and get some more ideas for our a2 and the future purchase of another .. great day really enjoyed it .. Thanks again to all those that turned out and made the day what its been ... zipnjeff

Thanks to everyone who made my first A2OC event so enjoyable. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly in comparison with other clubs i've been a member of in the past. I'd strongly recomend anyone who hasn't been to one of these events to give it a go, you won't regret it.

Looking forward to next year.

Steve

I agree with Steve. You only get out what you put in. Great day and super meal in the eve too.
Thanks Mike for organising it all. See you next time.

Another fantastic day. It was great to see old and new faces alike.

And the weather was kind to us even with a wet start.

Hi everyone - Thank you to all for making myself and the family so welcome.
We enjoyed the whole day.
We met some lovely, friendly people and some great looking A2'S - (Some of the other Audi's were ok as well....)

Thanks to A2sumo for the organising and everyone else - who make the club what it is.

Jacob particularly liked the children's parade "racing"

Lucy loved meeting other ladies at a car show - and the sunshine

I enjoyed meeting nice people and talking cars.

Isabella enjoyed the sleeping, running, eating and pulling faces.

Thanks everyone

Tony

URGENT NEWS FLASH----VONNIE AND I GOT HOME FROM ADI WITHOUT GONG THE MOST RANDOM ROUTE.
I would just to say a really big "sorry" to all that believed after all these years of attending ADI i should know the way. It was very upsetting leading a long convoy of really clean A2's along what can only be described as "the dirtiest route". But once we arrived the A2oc pitch looked fab with 26 A2's --- its amazing how a single model car club like ours can still draw so much attention-even better when you think they stopped making them in 2005.
I would like to thank all that came to support the club--with out you all it wouldn't be a social. It was great to see so many new faces along with the usual suspects. There was a first for me with my "statistics" in that this years ADI was the first time a jaipur red A2 was on the stand---Thanks to Rob for bringing it down, great spec car as well. It was nice to see myta2's 1.8 turbo powered a2--fantastic conversion with its 240 odd bhp. Steve's ultimate A2 looked factory fresh and drew lots of attention in the show and shine. In fact they all looked fab. It was also great to see Bruce with his beautifully prepared A2 all the way from Scotland. The club pitch was back to its corner location -- I'm my opinion i like it-the hard standing is nice if its wet but makes the pitch look a bit to carpark like.

So once again thank you for making the effort in attending and making the socials worth all the time and heartache. Vonnie and i look forward to seeing you again soon for the end of year evening meal. cheers mike
