Audi Driver International show at Castle Combe

Hi all now just under a week before the show at castle combe so here are the details of the meeting points----

Those driving to castle combe I hope you have a good trip and we will meet you at the car park in DUNNS LANE --SN14 7HU at 8.35. For those that are at the Hilton or Premier inn we will leave at 8.00 to join the others at the car park so I can hand out the passes. As regulars will know i have a lousy reputation for getting us to the circuit and the meeting point without going on a mucky mystery tour--so I'm hoping that Chris will help out and take the lead from the hotel as per previous years.
Cheers mike
WE NEED TO BE ON TIME AS WE WILL BE LEAVING THERE AT 8.55AM (If you cant get there for that time please pm me for my number and i can meet you at the gate to issue you with your pass.)
I will be offering hot drinks but unsure on hot dogs due to time getting the supplies.

Sorry to say that we will no longer be joining you good folks this time around.

I hope that those going have a fabulous time and that the current forecast is wide of the mark and the day pans out full of warmth and sunshine.

Have fun and I look forward to seeing the photographs and reading the various posts that follow.

Shame darren we will miss you but understand----this means we have two spaces for the evening meal after ADI ---Any takers?

Di had a bit of a relapse this week after progressing really well, Jeff. We both think that she has overdone things; especially the weekend just gone. She has improved today, but a possible rain-soaked race circuit isn't the best place for her. So bowing out for this one, but should make the end of year curry all things being equal. :)

Thanks for the kind words; see you soon mate.

Hi Darren,

That's a pity. Both Glyn and I were looking forward to spending time with you and your family.
We hope everything is fine your end, and will see you soon we hope.

Cheers
Jeff

Not that I'm going, so wouldn't have seen you guys anyway, but sorry to hear Di's under the weather. Get K to give her a hug for us, he seems to have loads of those available. :)

Just checked in here to check things over and discover your not going Darren. My balloon is deflated now mate, but fully understand that DI must come first. From us 3 here we wish you and Di the very best!

We are sorry to hear you won't be there tomorrow. Tony will miss a bit of exercise running around with kids. Wishing Di and all of you all the best. Tamara & Tony

The weather was great in the end plenty of sun and only a couple of spots of rain. A2oc was back where it belonged on the corner.
Great day and great club spirit with returning new faces all saying how Much they enjoy it.
20 A2's is a great result now back at the hotel washing and changing ready to head to the bar and then out for dinner. No drone shots sorry sarge. To close to the track to be safe. And to many people close by.
Yvonne is now googling the value of body parts so I fear I may well get chopped up and sold on eBay to fund her "I need an R8" after her 2 laps in an R8 with an Audi test driver.
The day isn't over yet but I would like to say a big thank you to all that attended -because I'll say it again, without you we wouldn't have a social side to the club. Those driving home now take car the rest see you soon for the evening meal.
Cheers mike and Yvonne

Here are my photos from the day. Vonnie is in one of the R8s on the track. `it's difficult to tell which. Probably not the person with the tash and glasses.

I should add thanks to Mike and Vonnie for organizing yet another fantastic day. Especially allowing me to barge in on the Hotel Friday meal :) It was lovely to catch up with everyone, especially as iI don't do as many events as i'd like.
