Hi.. I thought I'd report a very positive experience that I have just had with the main dealer here in Leicester.
I took my A2, to an Audi specialist just around the corner, for a belt, pulley and water pump change. Long story short, before they could do it I had to take a trip to the main dealer to replace the missing locking wheel bolt key, that was missing when I bought the car a month ago.
They were really helpful in the spares department, at Audi Leicester, when I phoned and said I had a choice. They would either match and choice a) replace the key, approximately £30-40; or choice b) they would undo the old ones for me and swap them for ordinary bolts for about £15.00 all in, whichever I preferred.
Well when I got there, yes you've guessed it, the keys for my A2 are the obsolete ones. So that's choice b) then.
The chap came out to the A2 and matched the key, with one from their mechanics set. So as we were off to get someone to undo all the locking bolt and sell me four non-locking ones I cheekily asked him if it was perhaps a spare one which I could buy? He said he would check that too.
They sold me that key for £13.00 + vat.
