Audi Service History.

Is there a department within Audi UK that provides a service history of cars? There is anecdotal evidence that my car was service by Ipswich Audi for the first ten years of its life. The original service book has been lost by a PO and the existing one, although comprehensive in that is shows date and mileage and work carried out, is only hand written.

When I brought my TDi in April 2020 I emailed customer.services@audi.co.uk with this

I have an enquiry regarding the service status of my Audi A2 2005 1.4 diesel 75 ZZ05 ZZZ VIN number WAUZZZ8 I have just acquired the car and there are no service details as the service book has been lost. I want to maintain the service intervals that are required. Would you be able to provide what services have been carried out when at the Audi main dealers since the car was manufactured so I can continue the service intervals?

The following day received the full list of services in a PDF document from Audi UK.

Me too. I called Audi UK, and they emailed me the history, and as I asked the spec of the car as it was sold. Just incase someone had been tinkering, I can return it to original spec in time.

I am really astonished that Audi UK gives you all the service history of your cars.
Here in Slovenia their status is that this is private information that falls under GDPR and they do not give it to you. Baaaah.

Oh thats nuts. Under none of the articles in GDPR could the service history of a non human entity (Audi car) be considered sensitive personal or highly sensitive personal information in and of itself. You would need to link it to a period of ownership by an individual and even then very tenuous.

I can note I would not be able to assist in providing the following service history logs using my platform. It would be best to please visit an Audi Centre preferred to you, for assistance in having the vehicle history checked and a log book provided.

Kindly note, if you have not done so you would be to take your V5c and two forms of identification, one of these being photographic, to ensure your ownership details of the vehicle are updated.
