Hi Everyone

I’m sorry if this is a repost but I tried to do a search but I couldn’t find anything

Do Audi TT front seats fit straight in to the Audi A2 without any modifications needed?

As im looking for leather seats for my A2 and im finding when there people selling them they are very expensive so im looking for a possible alternative option

No, they don't go straight in, but they will go

you'll need to mod the airbag connector to fit the A2 counterpart and also make mount adapter plates.

Is it a hard job the make mount adapter plates?

Has anyone done this before?

I dont know of anyone who's done the mod, but if you've access to metalworking kit, it should be pretty straightforward.

All that should be needed is a section of 3mm thick steel plate and a few basic tools

And what about the seatbelt locks, Skipton ?
Does the A2 item have to be retained, or do we need the TT locks ?
And wouldn't TT roadster seats be a better choice than TT coupe's, since there will be no tilt handle ?
