A great day and lovely to meet all the people I'd never met before. Thank you Mike and Vonnie for all the organisation and @Phoenix for showing me round your amazing 3L :) We must have been the last club that still had everyone there who came. The numbers of TTs thinned dramatically as soon as the rain started!

A few shots of mine that others didn't also take and post up already. Unfortunately I left it a bit late to get round the rest of the field, several nice ones I'd seen were already out through the gate by then.

[Edit - Proghound] @Teresa, seeing your reason for deleting this post I re-added the photos just the once, and undeleted it. Hope you don't mind - nice shots here :) You can always delete it again if you like :D
Thank you Ian. When I put it up it looked like I'd put about 3 sets of the same pictures. Thank you for sorting ?

Arrrr Teresa are you trying to tease me with Barney :)??

You know that I want a dolphin grey ? I have to say you Can’t beat a dolphin grey. I’d say it’s one of the best coulors for the A2

I can’t wait to see him at the end of year meal :)

Hopefully by then I’ll have a dolphin grey ?

Yes, sorry you had to miss AITP. I'm afraid I'll probably be back in Mabel at the end of season meal. She will be my main long journey car really as Barney isn't quite up to it yet. I'll probably end up bringing both to either Stanford hall or Kimboltin next year, with my parents in one of them ?

Better late than never a brief feedback:
As every year it was nice meeting old and new friends from the A2 community in UK and this time also Ireland!
Thanks to Mike, Yvonne for all the organizing work and everyone else that helped to make the meeting a nice place to be.

Roll on next AITP.

I must be getting old and just thought about writing this instead of writing it ! DOH

I would just like to say a great big thank you to all that came to this years AITP -the eleventh year of this show. This year we were joined by some continental members from Germany and Ireland x 2 always nice to see new a2’s And new faces. Andre is now a seasoned visitor from Germany and I’m sure you will join me in saying his A2 1.2tdi is fantastic in spec and economy.
Although our numbers were down this year due I’m sure to the weather forecast. The weather was kinder to us that any of us could have expected. With most of the day sunny - but when it did rain it was heavy. When it started spotting after lunch we all retreated to the cars and hurriedly put the chairs away except Jeremy who I think insisted it wouldn’t come to much. Hmmm I think you regretted that choice sat out in the pouring rain lol.
Great to see some new members and one couple in particular was a couple I had spent some time singing the praises of A2 ownership and what the differences were whilst at Stanford hall show. They have a TT so the A2 was a great choice to complement it. Well they arrived and they were on the stand in an A2 - great to see them. Not sure if it was me selling the idea or Darren c’s great pamphlet we give to interested parties.
I came in my akoya tdi as of course I now no longer have the yellow storm and must admit I turned up to the show with it looking rather unloved. But a quick bit of quick detailer sorted it out quite well - only to have my old storm park next to it - lovely to see Tony and Tamera are looking after it fantastically (I knew they would)
The show itself was looking great with a multitude of other car clubs - the guys from Audi tradition in Germany had once again made the trip with some rather special TT’s an electric bi turbo edition along with a safari edition.

Great weekend and once again thank you. Mike and Yvonne

I was fine, what are umbrellas for? :) It was quite fun to watch everyone scrambling away from the toilet block though ?
