Audis in the park 2013---billing aquadrome

Yes, at Knutsford, that's fine by me .... at 8 a.m., I will be parked right in front of the entrance. See you there!

David

Thanks Jeff and Mike, hopefully it's as you say and there will be little drama.
Really looking forward to it, see you all there!
Jon

oh and I'm bringing my camera so I'll make sure to take some shots for you Dan, hope you get better soon.

Hi all, Due to a family emergency we wont be able to make it . If there's anyone who is close to Bromley/Beckenham who still wants to go can pick up our entry wristband for free but it has to be before 10am as we have to leave shortly afterwards.

Have a great day to all thats going.

Cheers Steve

How was the turnout today? Looking forward to the pics. Gutted I couldn't make it was looking forward to seeing the 1.2tdi.

Just got back, I think 25 cars in total, Mike will be able to confirm. Some interesting mods and good looking cars.

Great to get there for the first time and meet you fellow A2 owners. Super weather too:cool:

Check out the BBQ below

I counted 26 A2's, 2 being 1.2tdi 3l models. A great day out, thanks to those who helped get the club stuff sorted and brought bbqs etc. Great car and lovely folk too.

See you next year!

David

It was a fantastic day with great company. A big thank you to all that travelled to represent A2oc at probably the largest Audi gathering in Europe. The total for the day was 28 at any one point with one coming at the end from another club stand --- so new record of 29 cars. Fantastic to see Andre with his awesome 1.2 tdi --that averaged 113.5 mpg from Germany!!! Incredible economy from what is now an old generation car design. Just like busses if you wait long enough you get two, and yes we had two 1.2tdi. Having had a chat with Calvin the organiser that was reporting the show was the biggest with 1500+ cars at the show. Great to see new faces along with the familular.
Thanks to David for his coffee and tea duties. Big thanks to timmus and mike mars for the sterling job of erecting the party dome and packing it all away ---dry ! The sun shone all day albeit with odd cloud coverage at times so we are now sitting in a pub saying " I think I've cought the sun" roll on AITP next year.
Once again thank's to all that took time out and support the club. Many thanks mike a2sumo

What a great Saturday evening and all day today.

Just got home after a really fantastic full day out.

Great to meet up with new and old friends and hopefully helped a couple of members with diagnostic scans.

A big thanks to David and Mike for all there efforts in making AITP a very pleasent day for A2OC members

Cheers

Jeff

Great photos Jon :)
I just wished I had remembered to put a SD card in my camera before I left for AITP. Doh!

Had a great day, everyone I met was friendly and very helpful.

Cheers to Robin, Jeff and Mike for looking into my wheel sensor problem and Craig for your advice.

Good to see the 3L in the flesh, I’m amazed how much thinner the wheels and arches are.

It’s uncommon to see another A2, nice to have so many in one place :D

Weather was great and kids fast asleep 10 minutes after leaving!

An excellent day, many thanks for organising it :) It was great to meet everybody, both familiar faces and new faces.

Great photos Jon :)
I just wished I had remembered to put a SD card in my camera before I left for AITP. Doh!

Thanks, but it sucks that you forgot it! I'm sure you wont make that mistake again!

So sad! Went all that way and wasn't there in a single photo! (and my front badge was lit-up, too!) LOL!

Sorry about that David, I was very biased to the end with mine. I'm sure others have some shots of yours, did you take any?

Jon
